I needed an island light for my kitchen with ample wattage to see in my dark kitchen. This chandelier filled the bill. Plenty of light, and the style is a good match for the industrial look of my house. Only observation is other buyers should be aware of the size of the glass globes. They work for me, but they are larger than expected.
