McKlein Aldora Business Tote

The bag is pretty but I’m going to return it. It does smell like leather and it is a nice color. However, it is VERY shiny. It not patent leather. I think it’s some kind of plastic like coating but whatever it is won’t be pretty long. I think a month of normal use will result in a scratched and beat up bag. I know all leather is subject to marring but this is going to plainly show EVERY scratch no matter how light. It’s just not practical for every day use.

Very nice leather, attractive, gold tone, hardware, very spacious

The bag itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the straps broke due to the gold hardware breaking, which caused the strap to separate. I’ve been using a paper clip to hold it together, it’s pretty pricey for this to happen.

Well built, sturdy, stylish bag

This is a great tote for work or travel. It's sturdy and you won't be disappointed.

Bought the light brown one. Love it. It's great for work. Other reviews mention it being heavy. This is true. That said, it seems well-made, sturdy, and looks fabulous. My laptop, notebooks, spirals etc. all fit in it along with umbrella etc. for work. Only downside, is that the zipper closure does not span the whole top of the bag. The little points that you see extending from each side of the bag are not covered. So, if it rains, water can get into your bag.

Pretty but VERY stiff, and the straps are ever too slightly short; in addition, there IS NO laptop pocket - no padding, no separation. NOT a business tote.

Love it! Perfect size. I can carry an extra pair of shoes, some work folders and the usual phone, wallet, keys.

The red is a very dark Burgundy, not at all like the photo. Very disappointed as I was expecting more of a deep cherry red. I loved the bag, but already have burgundy so I am exchanging it for black.
