Capresso 5-Cup Mini Drip Programmable Coffee Maker

I’m the only coffee drinker at home so this is the perfect size for me. Love the auto shut off feature.

This coffee maker is fine for 1 person. Takes up very little counter space. Pretty basic coffee pot.

We have been using the Capresso 5 Cup Mini Drip Programmable Coffee Maker to bloom our coffee grounds before we complete the drip cycle. The Capresso is set up to conveniently allow us to do this.

Very weak watered-down brews compared to cone-shaped baskets using same amount of water and coffee grains. This issue may not be specific to this product, but rather all flat-bottom baskets for smaller brews of coffee (2-3 cups). Regardless, unhappy with purchase and wish it were still within return window.

Very disappointed with the Capresso 5 cup mini coffee maker purchased actually a month ago. The lid never closed properly. The coffee maker was poorly made and a waste of money.I I would not recommend this product.

It makes noises when brewing

Well designed coffee maker. This model has the control buttons on the front, not back on the side. It also has the type of controls you would see on a 12 cup coffee maker, such as a clock and a timer. On the negative side, it is made largely of black plastic. I’m not a fan of plastic., But when you combine plastic with heat, you get bleaching. On top of that, the CCP allows the recycling of black plastic. It has fire retardant materials in it into plastic that can be used for food preparation, such as a coffee maker. I would rather pay the extra money and have another material rather than black plastic. The glass carafe is made of thin glass. We’ve all seen glass Pyrex measuring cups, which are made of extremely thick glass. In my opinion, the carafe is designed to be easily breakable so you are forced to buy replacements. I see no reason why the correct is not made of a more durable glass

Looking at all the negative reviews I probably would not purchase this coffee maker. However, I have had one for over five years and use it practically every day and it has been great. The only reason I am buying a new one is because the warmer is becoming rusty and I am moving so I thought I would go to my new place with a new coffee pot!

I had one new in box for a few years. Opened it and made coffee. Top would not close and coffee came from behind unit somehow and flooded my countertop.
