Unfortunately, the grinding mechanism is terrible; the salt sticks to the gears and builds up, so nothing comes out. The material is very fragile plastic. It stopped working after one, two months—total junk; I wasted my money.

The Le Creuset Salt mill is perfect. The color in sea salt is so pretty. It works very smoothly and is a nice size and weight. I also ordered the pepper mill which is just as perfect as the salt mill.
