Beautiful possible the finish is perfect. They seem very durable and are a classic look.

These bowls, although lovely, arrived through mail both broken. Very sad to watch the delivery man plunk the box onto the porch floor. In his defense, the box from Macy's DID NOT read FRAGILE. Obviously returning to Macy's. Maybe I'll try an in-store purchase next, ... or not.

Sturdy, made in Germany, big enough for an entire dinner very elegant

I love this dish it is so beautiful and perfect to use for everyday and special occasions. A dish of great quality and that I will use for years to come.

I bought another 6 to go with the sets I had previously purchased. My family love these bowls and they are our go to plate for many meals. Curries salads and pasta!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bowl is well made. I'm very happy with the purchase. I use it to store fruit on the countertop and it works great for that purpose. The one caveat is that the color is listed as white. If you are looking for a bright white this is not it. I would say it is more of a off white/cream color than a bright white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't be fooled by the plain design and drab color. These bowls are perfect for making your home cooked meals gorgeous. You eat with your eyes first. I actually prefer to use these over the plates! Finally I have a complete dining set by Villeroy & Boch! Also they have an amazing lifetime replacement policy. When Bloomingdales had their Home Sale, I couldn't resist!
