I am amazed at the ease with which this food processor slices, shreds, and chops food. It's also very quiet. Definitely a worthwhile purchase! I've already recommended this model to several people.

My daughter has the same one. It was my mom’s. I gave it to my mom for Christmas in 1981. Such a great kitchen appliance, can be used for so many things! We love our Cuisinarts!
Arrogant of manufacturer to assume everyone is familiar with assembly of this product. I’m dyslexic and honestly don’t know how the blade fits on post to shred. I guess I’ll YouTube or return. It should contain one diagram or a video link. QR Code brought me here so, this is my out of box experience and review. Can’t use until I search for instructions or somebody in my neighborhood can show me how.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence about spending so much money on this processor when you can clearly buy a cheaper one in various big box stores, however; I am so glad that I took the plunge and stuck to my own rule of you get what you pay for. I am in love with this powerhouse of a tool for my culinary needs. It is much quieter than I expected it to be, it is fast, efficient easily assessable for a variety of sized food. I gave it a 4 star because I would have loved an additional plate so to be able to do a thick cut or thinner cut for items like carrots or potatoes if I was making a "cowboy" style chunky verses a more refined cut. This is quite heavy and therefore making a "home" for it worked best for me and in doing so I purchased a slide out that fits it perfect and allows me to slide it to the edge of the counter to work with it and then slide back into "home plate" when done. I am loving this addition to my collection of chef tools and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good processor made by a company who has a great reputation. Oh and let me say no one has offered me anything for this review, it was on my own time and with no reward.

It's wonderful, sturdy base, easy to add via the chute additional ingredients!!! Have sliced zucchini, carrots, made dough.... I'm very happy with my purchase!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new food processor! The motor is incredibly powerful and able to handle those full loads.. Recently I had to grate some cheddar cheese and it worked perfectly. My old machine would gum up when grating cheese and it would end up a mess. No problem with the Cuisinart. I also found it much easier to clean and my old machine. Looking forward to getting many years of service out of my Cuisinart!
