The bowls were not the color we wanted

We got a set of these as a wedding gift 20 years ago. Except for a very careless hard knock on one bowl that resulted in a small chip, the set held up amazingly. They are hardy, a beautiful simple clean style, and the color remains as complete as the day we got them. I'd definitely without hesitation recommend Noritaki Colorware to anyone.

We are so glad we chose Noritake stone ware. The quartz tops we put in on our remodel are beautiful, but I think the old Formica had a little more 'bounce' to it. Thank goodness Noritake keeps a supply of our pattern on hand and ships promptly. The 7oz mini bowls are great for small doses of ice cream, as well as serving sauces and other condiments at meals. Our white over graphite Colorwave set is great for both casual and formal settings.

I registered for these place settings and bakeware in 2011 when I got married, and they are still going strong! We've added 2 kids to the mix so there have been 1 or 2 plates broken from being dropped, but I still have 95% of the pieces I originally received. I'm sure they'll last another 15 years!

A little smaller than a traditional salad bowl (7 oz. vs. 8 to 10 oz.) but they work. We use them for sauces and small vegetable sides.

These are great to put on the table with small servings of sauces. Elegant, not too small, perfect for dipping or pouring.

The bowls are nicely made, but definitely smaller than I realized. Useful for tiny fruit cups, one-scoop ice-cream, or other small quantities.

These are part of a complete set I am building. I needed a sturdy set of dinnerware that could take a slight beating yet still be able to put out in front of guests. These fit the bill.

Added to my existing set, these bowls are the size I had been looking for - 12oz to the rim. Colors are soft and rich.
