Love the design, weight and strength but they wear horribly. The raised design shows much abrasion even with careful use. It is high glaze and the raised weave design has become dull like an abrasive look. The set is not even 3 years old.

I wanted something simple enough to use all the time, but elegant enough for celebrations and special occasions. These fit the bill perfectly - and best of all, they are super durable, and do not show grey marks from silverware use on them! Since buying them, I have noticed them at upscale restaurants in both NYC and Paris.

This plate is lovely and works for both every day use and special occasions. The white on white pattern is simple and elegant. I bought these for my son and daughter-in-law and they couldn't be happier with my gift.
