Villeroy & Boch Audun Covered Vegetable Dish, 64 oz.

We have had this tureen for a number of years and always use it when we have friends over for dinner. We love the classic style of the Audun series and this takes pride of place at the dining table. It holds a lot and the handles make it easy to pass around to guests.

So good...this Vegetable dish is Spectacular. The great news is that you can put it to use with not only vegetables, but I put scrambled eggs on the table with this, and/or mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe dish as well. Very durable and beautiful to look at. A must to add a touch of old world charm to your meal table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The porcelain does not do well with cutlery. It leaves gray lines that only hard scrubbing can get rid of. It leaves a dull film on the plates. I love the design. I regret I bought it.

First of all, Villeroy and Boch is Porsche of the dinnerware. The quality of porcelain is great. This set is just stunning: it has a great combination of bright colors and antique motif.

I just got the covered vegetable dish and tureen, along with the Lion Bowls. Absolutely love them! They are stored in my leaded glass cabinets in the kitchen for all to enjoy when not in use. Can't wait to set the Thanksgiving Table! Best of all: dishwasher safe!

I purchase a 8 piece set many years ago and I still love it. It endures the everyday abuse of our family (including children) and the dishwasher. I love the pattern combinations. It looks beautiful on the table.
