I bought this a week ago and took it on first journey. It is amazing how much such a small piece of luggage can hold. I also love that it is lighter to lift than my carry on hard case I used before, and it matches my under the seat Hartman that I purchased first, I am 77 and my husband is 82, therefore the weight to lift up in the luggage rack is harder with the hard cased luggage. Love the color… Herringbone Beige.
This is my third Hartmann bag and I’m disappointed. Firstly, it arrived with a strong chemical smell so I had to keep it in the garage for a week to air out. Secondly, the faux leather trim (a medium brown to match the trim) really looks cheap. Thirdly, the tweed and wheels don’t look as good as previous models. It’s exactly the size I need for an upcoming trip to Europe or I would have been tempted to return it. My husband’s similar 5 year old Hartmann carryon has excellent wheels and construction so my fingers are crossed that this new one’s construction will hold up similarly, but all aspects of it look cheaper so I have my doubts. Hartmann is putting its name on lower quality goods than what they are known for.

Took a few tries, but an extraordinary cutomer service team with equally exemplary patience, helped me get the bag is was looking.for. This 50+ year Hartmann traveler is still impressed. Well done.
Another classic Hartmann. I have used Hartmann for travel and business all over the world over the past 36 years and it has never let me down. From the design to the quality of the product, I could not ask for a better piece of luggage of briefcase to travel with. I look forward to many more years of use with this new addition to my travels.

I really liked the look and feel of this carry-on, but it’s smaller than the standard size. I returned it to Macy’s. It was sooo easy to return. I bought a different model at Macy’s. I am so impressed with the customer service at Macy’s. Now my first stop when shopping.
I’ve had a Hartman for 20 years. This one is too small so I returned it.
Attractive, well made and excellent functionality. While zippers are very good quality they are a little hard to move.
Just having returned from three weeks journey, I used this carry on and it’s storage size is large for its measurements
