HENCKELS International Poultry Shears

Purchased to process game birds. I have only tried on dove and they will not cut the skin. The skin of a dove is too much for these! After having many, many Henckels knives, I expected much more.

These shears make it so unbelievably easy to "carve up" my roast chicken and I no longer have to worry about dulling my knives when I inevitably try to quarter in the wrong place. Can't wait to use these to spatchcock a chicken for the grill this summer! My only issue with these shears is that sometimes the latch catches when they're in use and you need to re-open it.

spring broke in 30 days, rust very fast, I tried 3 sets of the same style no good

it is the good Poultry Shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excited to have purchased these shears. I love how sturdy they are and that they have a safety latch to prevent the blades from opening when stored away. Too bad the blades don’t come apart (thus the 4 stars); this would make washing and drying much better. Other than that, very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These poultry shears were a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it! Very happy with the quality and ergonomic design. These shears have a great shape giving them leverage and comfort to not fatigue your hands. They're by far the best quality and design I've had, my only regret is not splurging sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it is ok. Not sharp enough as I expected tobe

Excellent product. Works very well. Even better than expected.

it’s good shear for cutting chicken. but after an year of use the screws loosened and it’s hard to use now!!

These work great when spatchcocking whole chickens, but are too small for turkeys.
