iLive Weatherband WR383R Hand-Crank 45-Hour Battery AM/FM Weather-Band Radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hand crank emergency radio for camping and home emergency. And I am so happy that I did. We were not camping, But our electricity went out during a thurder storm and we had no way to know how really bad it was until I remembered I had this radio. And it saved our lives. Dug it out of our camping box and I had previously charged it by the solar panel in it. So we just needed to crank the hand crank a few times to get it going and just in time. Not only we we thankful for the flashlight and lantern on it which provided terrific light to see by. We were able to tune in on the radio the weather. Just in time to catch it alerting us of a near by tornado that was headed our direction. And allowing us all to get in to our basement just in time. Right before it hit our house saving us from the tornado. Our house was destroyed. I am so thankful for this light weight emergency radi. It really saved our lives. I had to purchase a new radio and ordered more to give out to family and friends as gifts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I did some serious prepping for the next weather system headed my way. After having no power for 18 hours, no internet and the cell towers were also not working from the last storm, I got serious! I bought the weather radio at the BX. Which is multi-functional to the max! The radio part is: AM/FM/WB. It runs on either a rechargeable battery, size "AA" batteries or a wall plug in to 120 v. You can charge it with the wall plug in, a little pop out solar panel or by a hand crank. It has a flashlight on one end and a little pop out light on the other. You can also use it to charge your small devices. But wait! There's more! It has a small thermometer 🌡 on top. And I love thermometers! Hopefully our power stays on this time. But if it doesn't, I am prepared. I also bought a small fan, that runs off power tool batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently picked this up for my home after all the power outages we have been having. I want to know what is going on. And with multiple ways to power this ( batteries, solar power, turn crank, and d/c wall charger) I feel more prepaired against bad weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up about four months ago to have just in case of an emergency with storms and no FM radio no a.m. radio no weather band just dead air with a slight hum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks good and very useful for emergencies; I'm going to start using it, but it works excellently.

First of all, hubby bought this. Within a few min of checking all buttons and crannies, I had to tell him he is right. Size, functionality, appearance and price all are perfect. Ty Hubby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking just for a simple radio to keep on while my dogs are at home alone, but a coworker recently told me about a weather radio which I'd never heard of before. When I saw this product and all it had to offer I just knew I had to buy it. Several options to power it was definitely a huge selling point for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is great to have in case of emergencies. I appreciate all the ways you can power this radio with. Only one failing grade is the inability to charge this unit from a power bank. You have the ability to charge from solar, crank, or wall outlet. Why not a power bank? That To me is an oversight. Because of this I removed two stars. Because of this I would not recommend to a friend as there are plenty of options out there that are able to charge from a power bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this yesterday to bring to the drive-in and it worked perfectly!! 10 out of 10 would recommend this product!! It can be used for many things and has different features.
