Cuisinart SG-10 Spice & Nut Grinder

Works perfectly, grinds well and finely.

The first one I ordered never worked, had to be replaced. The replacement worked for three months of sporadic use then completely died. This grinder is a waste of time and money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the grinder specifically for mixed nuts. I hoped for a medium grind but ended up with mostly fine grind. Pulsating would give me a mixture of fine and coarse. I couldn't get a medium grind without having 90% being mostly fine grind. It's also messy. I understand the push-down top design, but since it is not secured, any granuals of ground nuts that escaped the bowl would fall out of the push-down top and onto the table. The cord storage also did not work. About a foot of cord remains outside the unit and could not be pushed into the storage. In the end, it's still a good little kitchen tool. I have yet to try grinding spices which would welcome the fine grind.

Highly impressed with this grinder! It’s super powerful, easy to clean, and handles hard spices like a breeze. The removable stainless steel bowl is a total game-change. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is if it came with a small cleaning brush to sweep out fine powder. Still, a fantastic purchase and highly recommended!

This is a perfect, convenient little mixer for dry grinding spices, sugar and a host of things. We use it literally everyday.

This has worked fantastic on every spice that I have used. You need to have at least 1.5 to 2 grams of spices in the unit to work effectively.

Whether is grinding hard cinnamon bark to fine dust, or pulsing nuts to the perfect rough crumb - this pocket rocket does it all! The compact size also makes it easy to store - and light weight for less pressure on wrists. A quality cuisinart product all around - HIGHLY recommend !
