Inconsistent product but cute shoe

I have these shoes in black. They were immediately soft and easy to wear. These ones feel very stiff and uncomfortable. Hoping they soften up. Very cute though! And a nice color. Love New Balance for making cute shoes in kids sizes with good width. Perfect for petite adults like me who have wide but short feet, and can't fit in normal adult shoes. These weren't my favorite pair but I'll continue to buy New Balance despite that.
