RC Essential Packable Jacket

Loved the style, color, fabric and fit, but...just went for a short walk in very light rain and came home wet and cold. It does not do any kind of "Water Defy." And the hood has no cords to tighten it, so it blows off in the wind.

For me the fit is perfect. I found the jacket in a running gear store and about fell over with surprise that they carried a size and fit for women with hips...and THANK you New Balance for offering this cut and size options! The unknown for me is how it will handle wind. The product description notes it does, though.

The concept of it is amazing, it’s literally what reeled me in. However, it is more of a boxy fit, and SUPER thin material. It’s only oversized in the arms, but fits short. I’m only 5’2 and it sits right at my hip and feels cropped. I’m usually a M/L but got the M due to the “oversized” component. Disappointed is an understatement. Please look elsewhere this is not worth the money.
