This is my second Barbour coat, I find unfortunately that the sizing doesn't work quite right for petites. I bought a US 6, and it's just a hair snug ... afraid to size up tho, as the overall length and sleeves are already borderline too long. I have the same problem with the beadnell polarquilt, although it's even more exaggerated in that style, as that coat is meant to fit slimmer. I'm afraid if I size up to an 8, the proportions would just be so off. I dont understand why brands that make such expensive clothes dont offer petites. you can't expect a size 6 to fit a 5ft and a 6ft woman the same. it is so frustrating. I still love both my coats tho, I just can't wear anything bulky underneath.
