Put way over hundreds of miles on the Wave Rider 28, and this shoe feels like - and is - a solid upgrade on the last. Strongly recommend if you've owned a Wave Rider type before and want something light and durable.

The Wave Rider 21 is an amazing feeling shoe. My go-to shoe has been the NB 880s, so I wasn't positive that I would like these as much. In addition, I ordered them online and did not try a pair on. Fortunately, I couldn't be more satisfied.

These are the best shoes I've owned in the past 10 years. I typically wear through shoes in eight months due to heavy usage at the gym and outdoor walking. I tend to wear my shoes every day, so they go quickly. This pair has lasted well beyond 10 months, and they still feel great and have good traction. The only reason I'm looking to buy another pair is that they're looking kind of beat up, which is simply a product of me wearing them every day. I've had Asics, Nike, Brooks, Merrill, Adidas, and New Balance. Hands down, this has been the best and longest lasting. I still plan to wear my current pair in the yard and for outdoor walks, but I'm getting a new pair for those more elegant affairs I need to attend sometimes. :)

What have you all done to the Wave Rider? This shoe design does not even close to fit my foot anymore like prior Wave Riders. Oh well...onward to a new shoe. I was brand loyal to Mizuo shoes, but seems like my time is over.
