Minimal break in time and light on the foot. Very comfortable for 10 plus hours of wear time. Waterproof needs touching up after about a month or so. Otherwise I would purchase them again.

Runs a Little Short: I feel the GTX version runs slightly shorter than the normal Genesis. The GTX is definitely stiffer which could be the difference. I love the color way.

First pair: My first pair of Salomon shoes and I love the fit. Great for scrambling around on trails and dunes in my area. I love the way they hold firmly to my feet when edging.
