The shoe has an impressive design and felt very comfortable when walking inside the house. Unfortunately, I had to return the shoes. The inner side of the upper fabric near the arch bulges and appears wrinkled along the creases, resulting in extra volume inside the shoe (yellow marked area). I noticed a similar issue in reviews on other retailers’ websites. I hope New Balance corrects this issue in the near future.
Ellipse: These are so comfy and have a good toe box for wider feet!
These shoes are a 10 out of 10 for walking: I have purchased a lot of shoes over the years to walk in and these are the best by far!
From NB 860 to Ellipse: The new foam makes this a softer shoe than the 860. There is enough build up on the medial side that this older runner feels stable and cradled.
Excellent running shoe: Excellent fit and extremely comfortable. They provide great stability. And they are very sporty looking.
