It is a combination of light and supportive. I’m a long distance walker. Minimum 6 miles/day. Less tiring because so light and still very supportive. I’ve just discovered this brand and I love it. Plus it’s beautifull to look at
The lower sides of the shoe are a dull ivory color - which makes it look like old rubber. I wish the side soles were white.
Awesome performance: Bought these knowing I was going to a rainy, wet place. They kept my feet dry and I noticed someone slipping on wet surfaces, but my Genesis Gore-TEX were gripping and not slipping!
