I’m pretty sure these triggered plantar fasciitis. I bought these shoes because they were praised on a running site. Historically I’ve had some pain in the right side of my body but the first time I used these I felt all sorts of new things on the left side of my body. Ultimately that side was where the foot pain developed. I don’t think this sort of cushioning is healthy for feet or bodies that need more stability. It’s like walking on a marshmallow or a trampoline. It sounds nice but it’s squishy and doesn’t keep the foot stable. But that’s just me!!

This is definitely a running shoe, not an office or just running errands shoe. The Asics Novablast 5 propels you forward in a comfortable feel and rocker. This feels more stable than some cushioned shoes, but still not great for anything gym-related apart from a treadmill or elliptical machine, don't try heavy lifting in these. This is going to make an excellent road running shoe that does something important: These shoes are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. I don't feel the laces cutting into my feet, I don't feel rubbing in the toe or heel area, I don't feel my feet sliding around. A solidly good running shoe that is quite the upgrade from my Novablast 2's.

After trying tons and tons of running shoes, chatGPT recommended the Novablasts5 for my running shoes and they do not disappoint! For the first time, I don’t have calf pain, Achilles pain, or any sort of discomfort while/after running. Highly recommend!!

I bought this shoe in two colors. The black pair fit better than these. This color has so much padding on the bottom that it seems uneven and makes me feel unbalanced when I walk. I returned them, was afraid they might cause a fall.

I have extremely narrow feet but I’m able to lace up these shoes to fit my skinny feet. The toe box is a little wide but it works. They are cushiony with lots of arch support and extremely comfortable.

Very comfortable. The upper material is not durable. My sneakers usually last me quite a long time. I don't think these lasted one year before holes appeared on the upper part of the sneaker in the area of my big toe, and another little hole further up. They have now become my garden sneakers. The black on black color doesn't make a nice appearance for a woman. My opinion. I probably would get these again due to how comfortable they were. They didn't require any break-in period, but I would choose a bicolor sneaker with the sole one color and the upper another color.

Sole makes popping noise: Shoes are comfortable but one side has a defect in the sole to where I feel a popping with my steps and it creates an audible noise.
