way too narrow

The reviews complaining about the opening of the shoe being too small is comedy. I don't think they're familiar with the concept of breaking in a pair of shoes. I think these shoes feel amazing, and they're easy to get on and off. No, you can't just step into them. But you're also not going to be pushing and struggling. I have narrow feet with high arches, and the fit is perfect. They don't have laces but my feet are secure in them. They're springy and well-cushioned, but not so much that your feet sink into them. I've worn these on long walks and it's the first pair of shoes I've had in a while that gave me no foot, knee, or back pain. Sure, they might not be the most stylish. They're the chunkiest shoes I own. But I love wearing them. I love being able to throw them on without tying laces. I love knowing that I can take them any distance and my feet won't pay the price. And yes, you might have to break them in. My pinky toe rubbed up against the side a little at first, but now it doesn't. Between these and the Restore shoes, Hoka is making my feet super happy again.

Looks nice, very comfy. I didn't have issues getting them on as others have mentioned but I have narrow (albeit long us15) feet. Only complaint is the lack of a tab on the heel to pull them on, seems like a big oversight on hoka's part, and why I only gave 4 stars. But as a bigger guy, these really save my knees, hip, and ankle joints when I'm on my feet all day.

Very Comfortable Recovery Shoe: This was a great choice for a recent trip to a conference in San Antonio. The shoe is easy at the airport and extremely comfortable for all-day wear during conference sessions. Really happy with this choice.
