These boots have very little break in time. The safety toe is also reliable. However, the tread is another issue. You would think these boots would be perfect for a manufacturing environment in all regards. Well, the comfort level is there.....the safety toe holds up well...but the tread gives out after not even a full shift? I don't get that logic. Before my shift was over I was slipping on the most basic surface! I did contact Wolverine and addressed this matter and they sent me another pair with an 8" boot. Still the same result. I don't know if this is how all the manufacturers operate or not but I hope Wolverine starts addressing the quality on the tread!

They are thick, heavy, hot, and rigid. They have Durashock, but I come from Durashock Flex Wolverine, and these have no flex; these are rigid. I could not survive a 10-hour workday and felt uncomfortable after six hours. If you are in a cold area and don't move around a lot, they would be decent. However, they do not vent well, and the heat is unbearable in hot weather. With the weight, it makes them weird.
