The ultimate high-mileage walking shoe (even if it's built for running!)
I have bought and tested dozens of different shoes from various manufacturers over the years, all in search of the absolute best walking shoe. I put these to the ultimate test, wearing them every single day to walk over 12 miles. Even though the Glycerin 23 is technically designed as a running shoe, it is hands down the best walking shoe I have ever owned. Exceptional comfort and durability.

Narrow footbed rubs on big toe! I've got pretty standard feet with no pronation. The toe of the shoe comes to a point. So the side of my big toe rubs on the sidewall of the shoe and I went a half size bigger. Considering the amount of money for the glycerine, you'd think they would have a shoe geared more to the shape of the foot or size 2E available! They say their is a 2E but you cannot find them.

Very nice looking shoes! I have never owned a pair of Brooks but I really like them so far. They are extremely comfortable and look really nice.

My best running shoe: The Brooks Glycerin 23 is honestly the best running shoe I've ever owned or tried. From the first run, the comfort and cushioning stood out. They feel great on both shorter and longer runs, provide excellent support, and make every step feel smooth and comfortable.
I've tried several different running shoes, and these are by far my favorite. The fit is great, the cushioning is excellent, and my feet feel much better after a run. I would highly recommend the Glycerin 23 to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable everyday running shoe.
