Ghost Trail

Love these shoes: Amazing shoes! They're super comfortable and lightweight. Perfect amount of cushion for long distance walking or running.

As a dog walker I walk 4-5 miles per day, so these sneakers are a life saver for me. I suffer from both Plantar Fasciitis and Hammer toes, and the Brooks Ghost Trail sneakers keep my feet pain free!

It says in the description that these shoes are waterproof, they are NOT waterproof by any means! After a brief walk in dewy grass my feet were wet and I had to change my socks. I got these to use as "yard shoes" to use to cut the grass and do other routine outside tasks. I thought being waterproof would help since I am sometimes in dewy grass or wet/muddy areas of the yard (especially in early spring). I have had many pairs of Brooks gyms shoes in past that were very cushioned and supportive, but these are not like the others in that area either. These shoes are not very comfortable, my feet were aching after a day of yard work. I wore them around the house to test them out at first, and they seemed fine. But after one day of wearing them I am sorely disappointed. I wish I could return them, but Zappos won't allow returns of worn items. I wish I had bought them directly from Brooks because at least they have a guarantee and allow you to return worn merchandise if you are not satisfied. I guess I learned my lesson the hard (and expensive) way!

This is my second pair of these. So comfortable right out of the box!

Room in the toes. Favorite shoes during this hot summer for some breathing room. Love the neutral color. I prefer Brooks in Wide but the 10 R has worked in this model. For reference, at New Balance my foot is measured between 9-9.5 and on the wider side of "regular" which has lined up with Brooks 10W. They are lower to the ground, old school versus a pillow, so they feel more stable. Knowing Brooks, they will update the version next season to a totally different fit so I might have to buy another pair.

I love Brooks Ghost shoes and have many different styles. This one, Ghost Trail, has a very uncomfortable tabs on the inside front of ankle. It may be to support the laces for trail running but it is a blister causing design flaw. If that tab is needed it would be best in a strong yet softer fabric. The edges feel like they are coated in hard plastic. It will be necessary to select thick soxs that come high enough to cover this piece. Ghost Trail is sturdier and less flexible which is ideal for trail running.

Most comfortable trail runner I’ve ever had. Very cushioned and I like the wide toe box. No break-in period.

I have narrow feet, and the Glycerin size 8 fits me perfectly. This felt large -- both long & wide.

Perfect! Got these for a trip I am taking in October to Asheville, NC. I've only worn them around the house so far, but they feel really comfortable and cushiony. I'm really looking forward to wearing these on my hikes and I absolutely love the color.

Awesome shoe! These are the BEST! I have several Brooks shoes and these are my new favorite. They provide great support for my daily walks on the treadmill.
