Layered with AMPLIFOAM™ PLUS technology in the midsole, this shoe also includes a higher stack height to help provide a softer and comfortable cushioning experience. The low-top shoes feature an engineered mesh upper with a lace-up design, a polyester lining, a polyester insole with OrthoLite™ X-30 sockliner, and FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning. These come with the PureGEL™ technology, a softer and updated version of the ASICS® GEL® technology, which is approximately 65% softer then standard GEL® technology.

Comfortable Shoes, Big Guy needs more Cushion: These were not quite as cushiony as I thought they would be, but I'm learning the Gel shoes just don't have the amount of cushion that those with the FF Blast sole. I do like them - they're sturdy and will work well for general wear, but I'll probably buy another pair with more float to them for walking/running. I'm 5'9" and 210lbs so I need the extra cushion for comfort. A lighter person might find these perfect for running.

By far the best fit in a shoe that I’ve had in years! Lots of cushion, and I am able to wear them comfortably all day. Great looking shoes and a great value.

Excellent walking shoes: I was having trouble with my knees and someone told me to get new shoes. I did some research abnd then purchased these. The fit is great and I told my girlfriend "it's like walking on marshmallows". I meant that in a good way. They have really helped my knees.
