Every year or so they update these shoes and ruin the fit. These shoes were much narrower than prior versions of the guide and have much less give in the toe box area. I often deal with heal slippage and have to use the extra holes at the top but the laces are too short. Finally, missing the loop at the back that helps them slip which makes me worried that the backs would break down faster than with prior iterations. Just generally disappointing.
This shoe runs wide. The B width had my foot sliding around. Too unstable to run in.
This shoe is great. It is very comfortable and supportive. I'm recovering from an ankle fracture and of 5 brands and styles of shoes this is the one that has been comfortable and supportive enough. They support a heel to toe gait and my walking has improved since I started wearing these a week ago. They are very light and soft.
Love love love these shoes. I usually wear a size 8 normal but have recently sized up to an 8.5 Wide these shoes give me plenty of room and an adequate amount of support for my over pronation. I only wish I could get the Wide in brighter colors.
The cushioning is great, but the heel feels really low. I got the wide because I have bunions, but it's really wide. I feel like I should have sized down a half a size or tried the regular width.
I've been wearing this brand for about 7 years and for the most part have been very satisfied but this Guide 19 is not up to par. The fit was off and the material seem like it would not hold up especially in the top of the shoe. For the price I could not justify keeping them.
Comfy Long Run Shoe: Loving these shoes for Long Runs. Helps keep my ankle stable. I came from the Nike Vomero Plus and prefer these.
Bought these about a month ago! I needed more support and have been finding these to be very comfortable. I usually am a size 8, but I sized up to a 8.5 for a roomier fit/toe box. Mainly for walking and low mileage runs, but happy so far.
Love them! Really loving this pair of shoes. I've been on about 6 runs in them (ranging from 3-10 miles each) and they're so comfortable. Super supportive and fit the arch of my foot so well.
Orthotics fit perfectly! I love these shoes. The wide allows my orthotics to fit perfectly.
