Size and fit are fine (length/width) but make sure they're a bit loose or your ankles will be in pain. Once I found an acceptable tightness, they have been better. Additionally, and unfortunately, it seems most companies, including Altra, cannot design a Gore-Tex shoe properly. You leave these on for any extended amount of time and your feet will be sweating. Extremely disappointing. I will not make this mistake again (with Gore-Tex). Wide toe box is a little odd to look at initially but not huge deal and is comfortable enough. Overall style/look is fine.

Those with wide toe joints or arthritis will love the roomy toe box area. Too much for my more narrow and straight pointed toes. Great shoe all around but not the style for me.
