Loved how they looked and felt on but sadly the ankle area is very loose! Loved the roomy toe box but my ankle slips out.. can’t size down, that will be too small. Bummer!

I have had several pairs of Keens and they don't seem to be made the same as previous. This shoe lacked the "feels good to have it on" feeling. No special support or comfort.

So glad I found the Keen Targhee hiking shoes! Just put them to the test hiking in Tahoe. Balanced soles, roomy toe box, and hopefully waterproof but did not need that feature this weekend.

I have a very tender area on the side of my left foot. This shoe rubbed that area, which made it too uncomfortable to wear. I was disappointed because I liked the style and my right foot felt great in the shoe. However, I've learned the hard way not to keep a shoe that feels slightly uncomfortable because after wearing them for a full day it's unbearable. If you have normal feet, these are GREAT shoes.

Not really waterproof: bought these at REI specifically because they are light weight and supposedly waterproof. Wore them for an hour in a light rain today to try them out. Carried an umbrella. while why are definitely better than running shoes they are definitely not waterproof . I wore no show socks to be sure I wasn't wicking surface water. My socks weren't soaked but they were damp. I was trying to avoid packing my heavier Keens for a trip, but now will have to. They are very comfortable, but if my feet are going to end up damp and cold, they are not what I expected. I am not new to Keen, these are my 5th or 6th Keen hiker

Im not as happy with these as with my last shoe, the WK500 Walking shoe. I have always taken a size 7 in all of my Keen shoes but these definitely run big. I decided to try a different style because the WK500, though extremely comfortable, the mesh is very thin and they kept ripping. This shoe is much bigger on my foot and not as comfortable.
