I have two pairs of Merrell hiking boots (insulated winter boots and uninsulated Moab Gore-tex) in size 7 M. The size 7 M Speed Strike 2 Waterproof was too large, but the 6.5 M is perfect. Nice, lightweight hiking sneaker, very similar to a running shoe but much more stable, grippy, and protective.
Ran a bit big for my feet. But would be good for wet walks and hikes.

Was stoked to find the Speed strike 2 in a waterproof version for an upcoming trip. I matched the size and ordered another 1/2 down due to the comments. 6.5 is too big and the 6 is too small. Had to return them both and start over.
It fit too large
I’ve worn Merrell hiking shoes for years and was always a size 5. These immediately felt loose when I tried them on, especially in the toe area. Even tightening the laces didn’t help. Will have to return. Too bad. They’re cute!
