A little small/narrow

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have another pair of Orthofeet shoes that are great. These shoes are reasonably attractive (They look like suede penny loafers). However, the velcro on both sides does not work to keep the shoes on. When I walked while trying them on, the velcro loosened and the shoes became way too loose. Unfortunately, I will return.
