I love the Sylan for racing, long training days and summit adventures. They feel secure and perfect for varied terrain in the rockies. I have no issues with dust or rocks getting in and love the hidden shoelace pocket. These fit true to size but I do size up half a size for any adventure over 50KM. The sylan is perfect for a beginner to advanced trail runner.
Love the new Sylans! I personally have a normal to narrow foot and they fit very well. I have pretty narrow heels and usually have trouble with slipping out of the shoe, but they have very nice little cushions on the heel side. They are fun to maneuver on a variety of terrain, are breathable and comfortable from short to long trail runs. A plus: Get ready to get compliments on the trail, because the large Arc'terx logo looks great!
Agile: These feel super responsive, agile, and lightweight. I've noticed I feel pretty zippy on any type of terrain. They are a bit narrow in the toe box, though. I can't wait for more colors to come out!
Cute shoes but not for me. They are very wide in the toe box. I have more narrow feet and skinny ankles so that made the shoes look like duck feet. By contrast, the heels are very narrow, and the right shoe rubbed on my ankle. The deciding factor was that the shoes are very hard to get on and off. They are styled with an elastic, ankle-hugging opening which is very snug. There is no compensating pull tab. Loosening the laces did not help. The black color is great, and the quality is good .
