Sorel's sizing is mad inconsistent. I have a pair of Kinetic Embers in size 9 that have plenty of "room to grow" in the toes; but I was crammed into the 9 in these. I do appreciate that the styling makes my big feet look smaller, but it would look best on someone who can either pull off "grandpa style" or "skater grunge." As a 40 something lady who dresses verrrry basic/classic, they just looked silly on me.
