These shoes are stylish and, once broken in, very comfortable. Unfortunately, they do squeak when walking. I did replace the original insole with an orthotic insole, so the squeaking may be related to that combination rather than the shoe itself. I tried using talcum powder to reduce the noise, which helped moderately but did not eliminate the squeaking. Overall, I like the shoes, but the squeaking is a noticeable drawback.
