The Ghost 16 was a perfect shoe. This one is longer, so now I am between sizes. Why would they change the length?? Also feels much firmer in the sole. Plus, the narrow width only comes in one color. It sells out within days, so clearly the demand is there. Wish they would make in more colors.
I have been wearing Brooks Ghosts since the 9, since the 15 I have not loved these; but the 17 and 18 I really dislike how squishy they became underfoot. I have hip issues and these shoes made my hip feel like it would collapse and made it very sore to the point I stopped walking.I purchased the 18’s hoping they brought back the firm but low softness under foot back on the insole/sole, they did not. The drop went from a 12 mm to a 10 mm which made my plantar fasciitis act up. So disappointed I returned them. I did love the color of white and rose. Please bring back the not squishy soles and the 12 mm drop
Really loved these shoes and wish they would have worked for my feet. I overpronate and need more stability and arch support when I run. Really wanted to keep them but alas, I did not and bought the adrenaline gts 25 instead.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! Very comfortable. They have a generous toe box. If the nail on your large toe gets unhappy, you'll understand why that's important.
I have been wearing Brooks - Ghost or Glycerin for over 10 years, size 9. My shoe size is 8 1/2. Ordered a 9 in the Ghost 18, my foot was swimming in the sneaker. Ordered an 8 1/2, as you can see in the photo I shared, the 8 1/2 is bigger than my size 9 from January. Let's see if the 8 fits. Stay tuned. Also not sure about the tongue, but we shall see.
Completely different sizing compared to the Ghost 17. The Ghost 18s seem very different to the 17s-I ordered the same shoe size as always and it is so much larger-feels at least a half to a full size bigger overall. Wish I'd bought more 17s when I had the chance.
The shoe fit, but unlike my other ones, they don't hug the heel and slip on the heel. I would like to return them, but I know that you have the incorrect email for me. There wasn't any return slip in the box - what do I do?
Loved Ghost 18 unfortunately felt he sherbet color was a little too bright for me (86 years) but would highly recommend for a younger woman.Have purchased Brooks Ghost for many years and never disappointed.
I was debating between Saucony Ride 19 and the Brooks Ghost 18 (which I have been wearing now for years). I prefer the fit and feel of the Brooks Ghost and they appear a bit slimmer looking from the top. The soles of the Saucony shoes are very squeaky on the wood and tile floors of my house. I will be sticking with the Brooks Ghost.
Purchased for my mother in law who needed a wide shoe which was comfortable and could also accommodate her orthotics. She loves these shoes and said they are perfect for her needs.
