I ordered 3 pairs until I found the right size. I am usually a solid 8. I ordered the 8 which is labeled 39 European. I have other European brands shoes in 38 ad they fit fine. The 8 (39) was almost a full size larger. My heels were slipping out as I walked and there was plenty of room in the toe area. Returned the 8 and ordered a 7.5 and a 7. The 7 was an exact fit with no wiggle room. The 7.5 was the best overall fit. I wore them around the house before venturing out. The arch support is moderate at best but they are comfy. The second day after officially wearing them outside of the house, I walked in them 2 miles straight and they were comfortable. I forgot that I had them on until later. The golden stripes add a touch of "glitz". I ordered a pack of assorted brown laces ( cheetah print, mini checkers, and plain brown) and have been switching them to match my outfit. I recommend this pair.

Super cute! Can't wait to wear them. Comfortable as well!
This shoe is too narrow in the toe box.
I did a search criteria for either slip on walking shoes or zippered ones. I loved the look of these but when they arrived, they were lace ups
