This is a tricky review to write. I’m writing it in hopes that it would save others from the same situation. The shoe itself is gorgeous. Construction, quality, & materials are beautiful. Color is gorgeous. There’s the usual problem of no half size so when I say true to size it’s true to size 10, not my actual size. The style of the shoe, however, is reminiscent of Air Jordan Jordans from 1984. I can’t help but think of all those boys in grade school stomping around with their shoes untied. Or of some one with severe edema. I have a pair similar in style that I was able to do surgery and remove the foam from the tongue so they didn’t appear so massive, but this shoe also has foam in the side walls. In the photos on the website, they did not appear to be so massive. I will attach photos- I took the pictures before I even tried them on. I don’t think there is any amount of tightening the laces to make these look like a normal shoe. I really wanted them to work but I would look truly absurd with my scrawny ankles in these.
