The ASICS® Trabuco 14 shoes are designed to help you run through unpredictable trail terrain more confidently. Their engineered polyester upper is made of a lightweight, breathable mesh material that helps reduce the need for additional overlays. These low-top shoes are designed with a polyester lining and insole. Approximately 4 grams lighter than the previous version, they feature an extra 2mm of FF BLAST™ MAX cushioning underfoot that's complemented with cloud-like softness and a responsive energy return in each step. Their rock protection plate features a flexible design that helps shield your foot from rocks and rugged terrain. The lace band and elasticized strap on the tongue help tuck your shoe laces to prevent them from coming untied. These running shoes have a new trail fit that offers a more supportive midfoot lockdown, which helps reduce movement within the shoe while providing a wider forefoot that allows for more comfort on long trail runs. The ASICSGRIP™ technology is positioned in the outsole for advanced traction on off-road surfaces. These lace-up shoes feature an OrthoLite® sockliner that provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, drier environment. The Rearfoot GEL technology, which is a shock-attenuating material placed in the midsole, provides cushioning and shock absorption. Nothing Compares: Bought these back in Feb when they came out and LOVE the fit. Toe box is now perfect. 13s were tight and caused a bit of tendonitis.

Great traction: 25 years in the Asics GT2000 but needed more traction on muddy trails. About half of my miles are on trails and half on the road, and this shoe feels well cushioned and comfortable on both.

Nice Shoes. Run Big: These shoes run very big. I ordered the same size I do for all my ASICS and could tell from the start they felt big. The toe box is very wide and I ended up needing to drop a half size to get my normal fit. Haven't run in the new pair but I do like the way these shoes feel. Just make sure to size down when ordering.
