I read many reviews that said the this style shoe fits small. In fact, when you order these shoes, it warns you to order one size larger. This is not true. I ordered 1/2 size larger and it was still too large. Order true to size.
This shoe was heavy and the insole is hard and uncomfortable. The D Width is much wider than the Cole Hahn and Donald Pliner loafers I wear regularly.
Toe box is too narrow for my feet. I ordered a 12 extra wide when I usually order an 11 1/2 extra wide and these were still uncomfortable in the toe box.
Have worn Allen Edmonds shoes before, however, this shoe is a little longer and consequently I will need to return these sohes.
It is probably the 7th pair I've bought through the years... I love them. One small thing, it seems that they are a bit narrower than they used to be.
This shoe is very comfortable. And, it looks great. Fit and finish are impeccable.
This is my eighth pair of Allen Edmonds and I've never had a problem with sizing. These shoes are so tight that they're painful to wear. I've work them twice, hoping that they'll stretch. No luck so far. Very disappointed.
These are my second pair of Allen Edmonds. I have been wearing them for the last month and am impressed by the quality. There are no major defects and the dark brown color looks great with my slacks and chinos. I am normally a size 9.5 D and ordered the same size. They fit my feet just right. I am pleased with these AEs.
This purchase was my third for this style shoe, I must say that it's still a great shoe, even though AE has cut corners on materials used in construction. Shoe liner doesn't seem to be the same quality of my other two pairs, and soles are also different. AE needs to remember great quality is what people expect at the top end of pricing.
They were so narrow that I could not get my feet into them. Perhaps they were mis-marked.
