I normally buy Rockports because they are durable, but Rockport didn't have any boat shoes in my size, so I tried Dockers. When I got them, I was shocked at how thin and flimsy the material was. It was difficult to put them on without pushing the tongue way down into the shoe, because the material is so thin that the tongue has no stiffness to it at all. It felt a lot like wearing slippers. They were also at least half a size too small. Yes they are cheaper, but I would spend a bit more and get something more solid. I doubt anything this flimsy would be durable.

Shoe fit fine and was comfortable. Just had sole wear out prematurely. Not a regular shoe in my rotation but had a problem with holes in the sole after only 14 months

I wouldn’t have bought these if I’d seen them in person. The leather is very stiff and gave me a blister on first wearing. Maybe useful for dog walking on a rainy day or gardening. I didn’t bother to return them because I was going away. Not nearly as nice as Sperry boat shoes.

we bought these as school shoes last year and had no problems, this year my son got blisters on his heels. I don't know what changed. Ended up with Florsheim boat shoes.

This have been a tried and true Boat Shoe and hope Dockers continues to manufacture and sell them. Will re-order again next year.

The shoes are very comfortable and I didn't have to break them in. The price was extremely competitive.
