Fit and size were a little better than the Redmond. Very comfortable to start with. After just 3 months the heel support is gone and the stability is poor. Much worse than the Redmond. Also seem to be noticeably hotter than the Redmond Waterproof.
While Columbia claims that the shoe is waterproof, this absolute claim would make it impossible for your feet to breathe. Some parts of the shoe can be declared as waterproof, but the canvas mesh allows your feet to breathe (less sweating, fewer odors). They are comfortable and the soles do not slip and slide on our wet porcelain tiles.
Shoes felt a little hard at first but became more comfortable as I wore them. I needed a new pair of waterproof walking shoes and these are fine.
It didn't look like I was thinking it would look. I didn't even try it. I just put it back in the box and I am returning it now.

Way too narrow I normally wear a D width and these were supposed to be E.
Great shoes and a bit tough to break in but once there, they are fantastic. If you buy this shoe, wear it...you will not be sorry.

The problem is that the wrong shoe size was in the box. It was an 8.5 not the 13 I ordered
Initially ordered a half size too big based on other reviews, but returned for my usual size and those fit perfectly. Really comfortable shoes. Walked through my marshy back yard after rain and they stayed dry.
