hard use in texas: I own 6 green, 3 black of the hiker boot midweight coolmax, 6 green, and thennn 3 pair of the lightweight shorter ones in green, which have seen the very hardest use in texas in hottest conditions, and I keep them nice without traditionally washing and drying. I put them in a shopping bag and freeze them, then take out into the sun and shake dry. . . which works realllly well.

These are Darn Tough: Before I switched to Darn Tough I was buying a new pack of socks twice a year. These are definitely worth the investment and are indeed, darn tough. These fit and perform far above my expectations.
