Just enough! I have only worn my micro-crew Steely socks for one 12-hr shift so far. However, they were very comfortable. I am also happy to report they are just tall enough to peek over the top of my 8-inch boots. I wear at US Men's 10. 5 and order size Large socks.

Out of the three different: Out of the three different styles I tried- Fred Tuttles, lightweight tactical and the Steely these are my favorite. The Tuttle is similar but the extra cushioning in the Steely makes it the standout. The micro height is just right for 6in boots especially in the coming warmer months. I will most likely end up stocking up with Darn Tough
