The soles are slightly less wide than some other “wide” Clark’s shoes, but the toe box is taller, so they are very comfortable instantly. The material is nice, not at all stiff, but very supportive. The 9 1/2 is true to size. I hope they still feel good after walking awhile. The button is ornamental with elastic underneath, so you have to slip the shoes on.
Clarks always fit! Been wearing them since 1997. Usually last 4-5 years before I wear part of the heel down. Look good on the first and last day I wear them.

These 7.5N shoes were a tad long on me and slipped on my heel, so I ordered the 7N--same heel slippage problem. Returned both. I am getting desperate in my search to find shoes that fit my narrow feet! VanEli used to be my go to shoes, but even they have stopped making Slims, and their narrows aren't narrow enough in many of their styles. Very discouraged.
I really liked the comfort promised by this flat shoe; however, it just wasn't narrow enough in the heel for me. The heels kept slipping even with thicker socks. Sad to have to return.
