I like the way these shoes look. Very nice. That being said... they seem a little dangerous too. The bottom (outside) of the sole is raised a bit, from the center of the shoe to about 1/2"- 3/4" which means the shoes are not stable. I have to decide whether or not to keep them as they were very wobbly. I would think someone would have broken or twisted their angle by now. If your legs are not accustomed to this kind of sole, you very well may roll out. See the photo... if this does not make sense... but it is like walking on a two by four. The design makes it easy to rollout. Esp if you pronate. I have seen other shoes like this and avoid them, but these are so nice, I will see a cobbler to see if I can get something to stabilize the shoe. I am older now and my legs are no longer like an athletes... and I believe these shoes are dangerous for me. A few drinks and a twisted ankle is probabal unless I modify and extend the rubber par of the sole to the edges of the shoe. The regular width is not wide enough for me... but they are not offering wide 12's. If I keep them, they should stretch out a little as they have in the past. They look fantastic though.

Definitely NOT a 4E-Xtra Wide as your width description states! Had to purchase boot stretchers and 2 bottles of stretching spray. Still trying to widen them & will follow in a few days! They are nice leather look great. Bought for a southwest wedding so I opted to keep them and try the stretching routine because I need them very soon!
I don’t know how long they will last but they look well made and are the softest leather I’ve seen on a boot. I’m going to order another pair.

They were lovely ...just not a true 4E....my hubby wears a 3e so I thought 4e should fit....they are wide but not a 4e....maybe they should be listed a just a wide or a 2e...but gorgeous..It broke his heart to return them
They looked good but he said the boots were too tight around the toes.
I got these for my son, and he absolutely loves them! He has been wearing them every day, walking distances.
I don't know in what world this shoe is a 4E width, but my foot didn't even make it halfway inside. The boot style and material quality is great, but if you can't put the shoe on, what's the point?
I'm pretty sure the size and width were correct. I haven't worn shoes/boots in twenty years and I know by wearing that I will stretch them out. If they are good quality, then this will happen. Fast shipping.
