I really wanted to love this shoe, but they seemed flawed from the moment they arrived at my doorstep. No, literally. Check out my pictures and note the tongue--it's very short! If feels like it's an inch shorter than it should be, which resulted in the top of the tongue digging into my ankle when I tightened the laces. Not great! Compare my pictures to the pictures of the boot on the product page. It's different right? For the record, I sent an email to Zappos to ask why the actual boot is slightly different than how it's displayed on the product page. I wanted to know if this was just a defective pair that I received or if Born is not making these correctly anymore. I never got a response from Zappos. I think I could love this boot if it was exactly as it appeared in the product pictures. Sooo close! I will regretfully return these bad boys.

Thought I had what i have been looking for, but seem on the tongue has come apart. i am bummed out and looking for another brand.
These are my go to shoes now. They’re super comfortable and look good with almost everything. They fit true to size and feel great. Will be buying these again if they wear out.
Nice pair of shoes at a great sale price! Size was right, didn't need any break in time. I wish the tongue was a bit longer but that is my only critique.

These are great for winter here in Wisconsin. Made with waterproof leather, they're very comfortable, light and fit true to size. And, they look great.
