Echelon Walker 3

I walk over 12 miles a day as a USPS letter carrier and these are by far the best walking shoes I have ever owned. (And trust me, I've tried at least 10 other brands and styles) The best! Worth every penny!

I've tried all types of shoes (running, walking, training, law enforcement, referee, etc) while on my job and these are imo the best for the price/performance! I had to break mine in for a couple of days before the shoes got really comfortable(I have other shoes for rotation) but once they become comfortable, these are my go-to shoes. Very rugged design, good grip soles, no sweaty feet after all day wear. A great buy!

...I'm sure the shoes are fine; maybe there's a problem with my feet... I cant seem to find any shoe that works well for me EXCEPT a pair from the business with the Spark nailed to the side of the building. Go figure that one. I certainly didnt have a problem with the Saucony in my youth, but these days, I just don't know.

I like the leather because it forms to your feet and I can walk the dog in the rain without wet feet. The shoes could be a bit wider in the toe area but I liked how deep the toe area was from the top of the shoe to the sole, so my foot didn't feel flattened. I was extremely disappointed with the hard sole. After wearing them for 1/2 hour the balls of my feet feel bruised. I got the Echelon 9 xw with the running sole and those are extremely comfortable. I wish Saucony would incorporate the cushion of the Echelon 9 sole into this leather walker and it would be perfect.

These were my 2nd pair. I normally wear a 10 W in shoes and boots. The first pair I purchased were 10 4E wide, and they were just a little wider than I needed. But I've had them for 4 years, and they're only just now starting to wear out from the inside. They are very well made for a sneaker and seem very comfortable to wear. Amazingly they still have tread on them. The second pair I bought were 10 2E wide, and they seem just a bit too narrow. When I wear the 2nd pair out, I'll probably go back to the 10 4E, if they still make them by then.

Great shoes - I have brought 3 pairs as they are so comfortable. I have extra wide feet and had struggled to find comfortable leather shoes that were wide enough, could be used in semi-formal and casual. These shoes are great!!
