The soles of these shoes were incredibly stiff. I felt like I threw on a pair of those wooden Dutch shoes when I slid these on.

Prior to this purchase I had been wearing a pair of KEEN high top Utility for the last year. They were and are one of the best fitting and best wearing shoes I have ever worn as an Amazon warehouse worker. I tried on these new shoes and unfortunately found the toe area to be too confining for me. I took a short stroll and they were a bit on the stiffer side as well. Both sets of shoes are listed at 11.5 US, but the new set seems to be less roomy in the toe. Nothing wrong with the quality I think it is just a fit problem. Am going to return/ exchange for size 12 US - am hoping this will solve the problem.
