I had been struggling with foot pain except when wearing my Birkenstock sandals so I ordered the “Bend” shoe for a look that could slide into professional. My feet instantly felt at home and I love these shoes.
I love these, but I wish there was a size between 39 and 40 because the 40 is just a little too big. I wear size 40 regular width birkenstock sandals and they're perfect, but with closed shoes a 40 is too long.
I love these shoes, in fact this is my second pair. I wore the first pair for a whole year before the cork on the sole wore out and the bottom fell off. I thought this was just a fluke but after only a month these new ones had the same problem. The cork started coming out again. Zappos was wonderful and let me return them for a full refund but I am very disappointed in Birkenstock. I have so many of their shoes and typically love them but these are a disappointment. Especially because they are so comfy.
I love the wide toe box of these shoes, and they are very supportive. I’ve never had Birks before, mainly because the sandal style makes my foot look wider than it is. But my podiatrist recommended these for my high-arch daughter, and I love them myself! I have a narrow heel and a wider than normal ball of foot; these are perfect.
The fit and size was fine but after 6 months with limited wearing the cork is falling out and the sole is loose. These are way too expensive to fall apart like this. I have 5 other pairs of various styles and know to seal the cork. These are just defective and Birkenstock don’t stand by their product. Not sure I’ll ever own another pair after being a fan for years.
I would not buy these again. I have two pairs, a black pair and a white pair. They have both fallen apart within two seasons of wear. The black pair has the sole separating from the shoe—where to cork part is at the back of the shoe it’s completely come apart. The white pair looks terrible. The color started coming off (this happens with white leather so not too big a deal, but it happened after one season), and the rubber sole is separating from the sides of the shoe. I also just noticed that a piece of the rubber sole, about the size of a quarter, has fallen out of the rubber sole. I’ve never actually seen that in a shoe. I’ve been wearing Birkenstock sandals for 30 years and they usually last for years—I take them to a cobbler for repair and they just keep going. These sneakers are the worst quality I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning.
Love the arch support and wide toe splay.
They look great and are good quality. Unfortunately, they do not feel comfortable enough to walk in.
Cute style for wider feet. Returning because the toe cap isnt tall enough and was hitting the top of big toe. Zappos-please check returns when reselling—the shoes sent to me had been worn because the leather was scratched on the top of one shoe and the soles of both shoes were both dirty.
