Although they were comfortable in regards to the cushion I would stand on but the band that went over the top of my foot did NOT , therefore left me with a bruised area.

The insole of the shoe is very comfortable. The quality is good. The band over the top of the foot is too tight and I have a very slim foot so I can't imagine that it would be comfortable on someone with a heavier build. The shoe is also hot in your foot sweat because of the rubber.

Not good for a high instep. Everything about these clogs is perfect...except for the band over the instep. I read reviews saying that these had decent room over the top of the foot, and I have a very high arch and instep. Alas, they are not high enough. I already have enough experience with tight-instep shoes to know that after less than an hour in these, the tops of my feet would be aching and my toes would be going numb. For reference, feels similar to the original Dansko clog in terms of tightness over the arch, which is why I can't wear those either. I'm pretty bummed since everything else about these shoes feels like a dream- nice roomy toe box, secure but not tight heels, insanely comfortable insoles and good arch support.

I like the look of these shoes and occasionally wear them for work, but the shoe top opening rubs painfully on the top of my foot. This shoe doesn't support high arches. I think that the padding in the heel is too thick, and I feel like I'm tipping forward. I wish that Crocs would make a shoe for people with high arches by not putting so much padding in the heel, and increasing the padding in the arch. It is the arch that needs the padding for impacts, not the heel. I need the arch to be high, and the heel to be much lower in order to maintain my center of gravity. I would love it if my whole arch was cradled in cushioning. Ah, now that would be a very comfortable shoe!

I have been looking for more comfortable clogs to wear to work as I am on my feet all day. I have several pairs of crocs, but I needed to get a pair without holes for work. I ordered the same size as I always do, but these were squeezing mainly on the top of my foot. If I take the insoles out, they fit, but with the insoles they do not. It defeats the purpose to wear these without the insoles as I need the support for my feet. I really wanted these to work and I'm so disappointed that they didn't! Maybe size up a bit if you order them.
